0. Connect the NEXAGEN MCP

Add a remote MCP server in Cursor's MCP config (.cursor/mcp.json or ~/.cursor/mcp.json) with the address from NEXAGEN's official MCP connection guide. OAuth sign-in is supported.

1. Install the Skills

Cursor supports Agent Skills (SKILL.md folders).

1. Unzip; skills/ contains the nexagen-* folders.
2. Project: copy them to <project>/.cursor/skills/ (or .agents/skills/).
3. All projects: copy them to ~/.cursor/skills/ (or ~/.agents/skills/).
4. Keep the folder names: the folder name must match name in SKILL.md.

Cursor also reads .claude/skills/ and ~/.claude/skills/, so a Claude Code install already works in Cursor.

2. Check

In Agent chat, ask "Continue the work in this workspace" and confirm it reads the state first.

Uploads (file PUT)

The agent can run the HTTP PUT as a terminal command (with your approval).
