0. Connect the NEXAGEN MCP
Connect the NEXAGEN MCP in ChatGPT's apps/connectors settings, using the address from NEXAGEN's official MCP connection guide.
1. ChatGPT desktop app — personal plugin install
The nexagen-skills/ folder in the ZIP follows the official portable plugin layout (plugin.json + skills/).
- Copy
nexagen-skills/to~/.codex/plugins/nexagen-skills. - Add the entry from
marketplace.example.jsonto~/.agents/plugins/marketplace.jsonand makesource.pathpoint to that folder. - Restart the ChatGPT desktop app.
- Check that the plugin appears in your local marketplace source.
2. Paste-in summary (optional)
Where plugins cannot be used, you can paste SYSTEM_PROMPT.md (compressed rules, in the Complete Pack) into a place that accepts your own instructions, such as project instructions. This is not a Skill install and does not replace the detailed Skill workflows.
Uploads (file PUT)
There is no documented way for ChatGPT chat to PUT a local file to a signed URL. Upload in the NEXAGEN web app and pick it from your library.
